Kleinbard successfully defends a premier property and casualty insurance organization in a multi-million dollar insurance bad faith case.
Kleinbard attorneys Steven J. Engelmyer, Eric J. Schreiner and Lorena E. Ahumada recently represented a large, regionally-based insurance company in a suit by an insured for common law and statutory bad faith. Following a three-day bench trial, a Pennsylvania court adopted Kleinbard’s argument that the insurance company acted reasonably in handling the disputed insurance claim and ruled in favor of the insurer. |
