Howard is a partner in the Business Department and is a managing partner of the firm. His practice includes representing clients in a broad range of transactions and acting as outside general counsel to numerous middle market businesses and start-up companies. Howard represents buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, represents issuers and investors in venture capital and other corporate finance transactions, and represents a variety of clients in joint ventures and strategic alliances.
Howard has been actively involved in various philanthropic institutions, and currently serves on the Board of the Committee of Seventy, the Board of Trustees of the Federation of Jewish Agencies and the Board of Directors and Strategic Planning Committee of the Philadelphia Geriatric Center. He is a past recipient of the Young Leadership Award from the Federation of the Jewish Agencies and is included in Who’s Who in American Lawyers. Howard has planned, and participated as a panelist at, various Continuing Legal Education seminars on topics including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic alliances and loan documentation.
Howard is a 1980 graduate of the University of Chicago Law School and a 1977 graduate of Princeton University. Howard is admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania. |
