Michael is a partner in the Business Department. He practices in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance and real estate. He regularly represents and counsels many newly formed and middle market businesses with respect to their transactional needs.
Michael represents one of the largest wireless tower companies in the United States and has also negotiated hundreds of telecommunications site leases on behalf of operators.
In addition to his corporate transactional experience, Michael has also become one of the state’s leading attorneys in education law. Michael represents numerous Charter Schools throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
In 2005 - 2008, Michael was honored by Law & Politics Magazine and Philadelphia Magazine as a “Pennsylvania Super Lawyer” in its Rising Stars Edition for the area of mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm, Michael was an associate in the Corporate Finance Department of the Philadelphia office of Pepper Hamilton LLP.
Michael received his law degree magna cum laude in 1994 from Villanova University School of Law where he served as an Editor of the Villanova Law Review and was elected to the Order of the Coif. He received a Bachelor of Science degree cum laude in 1991 from St. Joseph's University. Michael is admitted to the Bar of Pennsylvania. |
