Government Relations

Our government relations practice group guides its clients on issues relating to state and local government. Members of the group advise clients in managing the facets of their businesses that depend on experience working with governmental offices and agencies. For example, our government relations attorneys will aid clients in real estate development matters, including determining the availability of financing options, addressing environmental concerns and developing strategies for obtaining necessary approvals. We have participated with our clients in contract negotiations with public financing transactions, funds for which have been used for a number of public and non-profit development projects. Our government relations clients include representatives from a number of businesses and non-profit organizations, such as technology and health care companies, real estate developers, sports franchises, universities, charter schools and community development corporations.
